Supporting local causes

Last month The Teesside Family Foundation gave a 50 year old lady with stage 4 Cancer paralysed from the waist down a better quality of life.✨

After an application by her daughter to help fund an electric wheelchair, we decided to buy and donate the chair from the Foundation. The electric wheelchair was built to specification by MD Mobility who also kindly gave a big discount to the Foundation.

After receiving the chair the ladies' daughter said "Getting the electric wheelchair for my mam really means so much, she will now have the independence to do things for herself and not have to rely on her husband as much. She’ll no longer be stuck in her bed all day, she’ll be able to use the chair around the house and visit neighbours and family in the village which really will be amazing for her. Thank you for giving my mum her independence, We are so grateful"
