J2 Plus

Superior skin protection and stability designed for bariatric clients.

The JAY J2 Plus, offering a weight capacity of 650 lbs, is a pre-contoured foam cushion that features a JAY Flow fluid tripad for superior skin protection and an easy to modify base with optional positioning components for optimal stability.

Contoured Base with Anterior Slope and 650 lb. Weight Capacity
The J2 Plus features mild leg trough cutouts and medial thigh supports to encourage proper positioning of the pelvis and thighs for bariatric clients. A gentle anterior slope opens the hip angle to create a more upright posture. The J2 Plus' closed cell foam construction is easy to modify in our factory or in the field and accommodates changing needs.

JAY Flow Fluid or Visco Memory Foam Inserts
The J2 Plus is available with multiple insert options. For clients at high risk of skin breakdown, the JAY Flow fluid tripad conforms to each individual's shape, adjusts to sitting positions, and ensures proper fluid placement beneath bony prominences. For clients at low risk of skin breakdown, the Visco memory foam may be layered to create combinations suitable for each unique client.

Zip Cushion

Skin protection and positioning designed just for kids.

The JAY Zip is an anti-microbial, convenient, and comfortable skin protection and positioning cushion designed specifically for kids!

Soft Foam Base with Varying Firmness
The Zip cushion's dual-layered foam base combines structural support and comfort. Typically, a child using an 8" wide cushion may require a slightly softer foam than a child using a 14" wide cushion. For this reason, the firmness of the Zip's foam base increases with the cushion width.

Antimicrobial
The comfortable and soft outer cover offers a unique benefit: it's antimicrobial. The X-static fabric is impregnated with silver, which studies have shown actually inhibits microbe growth. This same material is also used in bandages, hosiery, and footwear to name a few. The outer cover is black as standard, and additional spares covers in pink or blue can be purchased.

Comfortable
A dual layered contoured foam base, and a soft, stretchable outer cover create a very comfortable ride for kids. The 3DX spacer fabric in the outer cover also promotes air movement to prevent heat and moisture build-up.

Lite Cushion

Specifically designed for the active client seeking minimal weight.

Product Features:

Firm, extremely lightweight, breathable, airflow layered foam base with ischial cut outs
Excellent lateral and forward/rearward stability achieved via combination of Optiwell™ technology and firmness layering in base – “the pelvis fits the well”
Optiwell technology, ischial cut-outs and scooped foam in pelvic loading area (PLA) effectively redistribute pressure away from the ‘at risk‘ bony prominences
Microclimatic cover with 3DX™ spacer fabric for heat and moisture dissipation

Clinical Application:

Symmetrival client requires comfort with minimal weight but mild/moderate postural support
Mild to moderate lateral and foreward/rearward stability needs
