SCOOTER TRAINING
Recently there has been an increase in mobility scooter related accidents. Sky News and the BBC recently highlighted the need for more safety measures to be put in place for scooter users. Currently, mobility scooter users are exempt from road traffic rules. Mobility scooter users do not need to take a driving test or have a mobility licence to use a scooter. There is also no legal requirement for insurance although this is highly recommend.
Due to the aforementioned, MD Mobility offer scooter training to all of our customers. We ensure that all customers are fully aware of the controls, safe use of the scooter, pavement and road awareness and overall mobility scooter safety. If you would like mobility scooter safety training or if you have any questions regarding the safe use of your scooter please contact MD Mobility direct on 01287 635922 (Guisborough) or 01609 776484 (Northallerton) You are also welcome to visit either of our showrooms where our fully trained staff will assist you. |
