Uniscan was founded back in 1983 by Managing Director, Tom Morris. They are proud to still be a family owned and run company today. Tom is the originator of the lightweight folding wheeled walker with an integral rest seat. They don't make a huge range of mobility products, just one mobility aid - the walking frame. But because they only make 3-Leg and 4-Leg walking frames, and have done since 1983, they believe they have earned the right to call themselves "The Walking Frame Specialist".
Uniscan manufacture their walkers to be ultra lightweight, which is critical to the young, people with limited strength or those with debilitating conditions such as arthritis or MS etc. |

This ultra lightweight walker is our basic economy model. Features folding seat, adjustable handle height and folds for storage.

Freeway
The Freeway is the first of our standard width 4-leg walkers and weighs just 13lbs (5.8kg). Features folding seat, underseat caddy with zipped pocket and cover, adjustable handle heights and choice of seat heights.

A-Frame
The A-Frame is a wonderful 4-Leg walker ideal for people who struggle with a 4-Leg wheeled walker, but want more than a "zimmer" type frame. It has fixed double wheels on the front legs and rubber stoppers (like walking sticks) on the rear. In use the back legs are lifted slightly and the walker is rolled forward on the front wheels.

Glider Plus Adjustable
The Glider Plus Adjustable is our most popular 4-leg walking frame providing the ultimate in features and choice. This deluxe model features a unique comfortable folding backrest for a more relaxed and secure seating position, a rest seat, under seat caddy with zipped pocket and cover, plus a full range of accessories.

Grand Glider Plus Adjustable
Based on the Glider Plus Adjustable, the Grand is our heavy duty walker, but still lightweight. It is capable of taking a user weight of up to 40 stones (245kg). At 29" (737mm) wide it also gives more hip width when seated.

Traveller
The Traveller is a unique 4-leg walker designed to fold virtually flat so that it can be safely transported when travelling. The handles are simply repositioned (by unscrewing two hand knobs), and turning them inwards (and replacing the hand knobs).
